Which trailer fits your vehicle?
20 ft car hauler
Payload capacity of approximately 7,000 lbs. It's about 7 feet wide between the fenders and 8.5 feet wide overall. Because the fenders are drive-over, any vehicle 8.5 feet wide or narrower will fit, as long as it has the ground clearance to get over the fenders.
7x14 enclosed trailer
Payload capacity of approximately 4,500 lbs. If your vehicle is less than 7 feet wide, shorter than 14 feet, and under that weight, this trailer can easily transport it, out of the weather.
How to load a vehicle on the 20 ft car hauler
- Remove the locks from the ramp doors at the rear of the trailer and take out the ramps.
- Hang the ramps on the rear of the trailer using the hooks at the end of each ramp.
- Line each ramp up with the wheels of the vehicle.
- If you need the winch, disengage it following the instructions on the winch, pull the cable out, secure the hook to the front of the vehicle, and re-engage the winch.
- Using one of the provided remotes (wireless or wired), slowly wind the cable onto the winch to pull the vehicle up, adjusting its alignment as needed.
- Once the vehicle is on the trailer, secure it with the provided straps. Wrap the axle straps around the wheels or the axles to give the ratchet straps a solid tie-down point.
How to hitch up safely
- Make sure the trailer tongue is securely seated on the ball and fully down.
- Insert the provided hitch pin. This is important: it helps keep the trailer from coming off the ball during transport.
- Attach the safety chains to the towing vehicle. If they're too long, twist them a few times before attaching so they don't drag on the ground.
- On the 20 ft car hauler and the 7x14 enclosed trailer, attach the breakaway cable (the bungee line) in the same place as the chains. If the trailer ever comes loose, it pulls the breakaway switch and applies the trailer brakes.
